I'm learning the hard way not to trust anyone. Even the one you revere the most may be scheming your downfall. By no stretch of imagination may this seem logical, but who said imagination is limitless?

So how exactly is SANTOSH scheming against u???
Deepanjan saidā€¦
Well, imagination shouldn't be stretched into the next Universe! I can see my sombre mood affecting my postings.

2 Sittu: As far as I'm concerned, only mosquitoes can be at the receiving end.

Just some funk!
I guess Blogger should come with its own Instant Messenger. By the time I log out after posting a comment, others have added their own!

Is this blog just a passing thought or is there some physical reality to it. Come on Deep tell us more. Don't be so enigmatic.

Sam, join the group again, pleeeeeeeeeeez! C'mon yaar, stop being upset.
Deepanjan saidā€¦
I didn't get you, Sameer. Right now, all my thoughts are passing by & I can't grasp them. Maybe it's one of those infamous moody traps!
Deepanjan saidā€¦
Hey, my blog is enough to keep Sameer interested in perverted pranks. He somehow managed to escape with his life after that historic mail helped plummet his popularity to an all-time low!

Rob, I have the highest regard for you buddy and you know it. You don't need to plead; you merely have to command me.

I know it pretty well how lonely I am going to be without the group and you guys. I won't be able to stay away for long.

But, this problem has got to stop.
You see, tomorrow again it could be me or somebody else.I need to clear this menace from our beloved group once and for all.

I am working on it. Being a novice to the world of the Internet, I don't say I will be able to contribute much, nevertheless, I am trying.

I know that the moderators are doing their best. Did anyone try to seek help from the other experts of the net like Divesh or Prateek?

BTW, Rob, give me your Gmail Id.

Sittu, I still don't think you are telling me everything you know. I have my suspicions based on things told to me by reliable sources. And I am not in a mood to joke.

u still call people from our batch "reliable"? dude, u have to learn a lot. And whatever I told u, they were, as they say, to the best of my knowledge and belief.
Vivek saidā€¦
OK Sam, all the best for your efforts. My gmail id is vivekrobert@gmail.com.

Deep, I feel you should reconsider this statement of yours: - 'By no stretch of imagination may this seem logical, but who said imagination is limitless?'

Shouldn't it be '....., but who said imagination is limited?' or something like that.
Deepanjan saidā€¦
Nope. I stand by my word. Your statement conveys the contradictory idea.
Anonymous saidā€¦
Ok my mistake. And thanks for not being a snob.
Anonymous saidā€¦
Hey plz, I am already havin a headache. yaar avoid such jalebi-pointers statments.
Deepanjan saidā€¦
Sameera, what say? Should we call a truce?
Bobby called. She wanted your mobile number.
Anonymous saidā€¦
Hmmmmmm........ quit calling me Sameera and I'll consider your proposition. By the way, I don't have a mobile as yet.
Deepanjan saidā€¦
Really? That vacuum headed Rajeev said your number was 9822285932. That's the number I gave Bobby. U may contact her @ 9860097390.
Anonymous saidā€¦
I carry a SIM card with that number in my pocket. Now only if someone could donate a Nokia 6681 to this poor man, I could receive that call from Bobby.
Deepanjan saidā€¦
IBMers are habitual beggers! Settle for bread if u can't buy cake!

One day I am going to buy myself caviar. Then we'll see who's the begger.

Someday, I'll buy myself The Taj Mahal!

The year that was

I'm wearing a rather striking shirt, one that makes me feel like a clown fooling around in a graveyard. Roving eyes latch on to me and make me too conscious of myself. Checkered in red, grey, black and maroon, I've excused myself into donning it and looking silly for two reasons. It's Friday andā€¦more importantly, the last working day of the year. Tailored half-a-year back, I never had the courage to wear it, not until today. It's that time of the year when it's time to reflect on the events that transpired. Last year ended on the worst possible note. Dad had expired and I was numb with shock. The repercussions rippled halfway thought this year. Things were so abysmal initially that I had lost the will to live. Acrid in everything I did, I was immensely angered by time phlegmatically flowing through its cadence. It was as if Dad meant nothing to anybody. What right did people have to live the way they always had when Dad was no more? Why was much of the world still ...

This is what Bertrand Russell said about religion...

Religion is based, I think, primarily and mainly upon fear. It is partly the terror of the unknown and partly, as I have said, the wish to feel that you have a kind of elder brother who will stand by you in all your troubles and disputes. ... A good world needs knowledge, kindliness, and courage; it does not need a regretful hankering after the past or a fettering of the free intelligence by the words uttered long ago by ignorant men.
